Yesterday we were in the car and you looked at me as I was buckling you in and you asked in only the way a 4 year old can, “When is it going to be cold again?”
In between the hysterical laughter in my head I heard myself saying, “Not for a while sweetie … not for a long while.”
To which you replied, again in the way that only a 4 year old can, “Awwwwwwww.”
My sentiments exactly.
