Tonight dressert consisted of Cheese Balls (from Utah), jelly beans, peanut butter crackers, dried blueberries, and organic fruit flavored Cheerio like cereal. Dressert of champions!
Just so you know, last night while I was tucking you in you asked me if I would stay with you always and forever. I said that I couldn’t, and besides, at some point you’d be embarrassed by me and not want to hang out with me. You just laughed and said, “That’s so silly. I’ll always want you to be with me always and forever!”
And then I cried just a little bit.
Our normal routing at night is for you hide while I get ready to brush your teeth. I pretend to look for you and then I find you and brush your teeth. Tonight I got your toothbrush ready while you were still putting on your majamas. So, I took the opportunity to hide from you in your normal spot (under the covers on my bed). You came in to hide from me and there I was, hiding from you.
You thought it was the funniest things ever. You laughed your cute little maniacal laugh. It was awesome!
