Dodgers 7, Cubs 2

So, I know technically this isn’t the right venue to be boasting about the Dodgers win over the Cubs tonight, but where else can I do it?

And this story does relate to you. So …

When I got home from work today it was the top of the 5th with 2 outs. There were 2 men on when the Cubs pitcher, Ryan Dempster, walked Manny Ramirez Andre Ethier (Manny was already on first … Thanks to Mommy for correcting me on this) to load the bases with James Loney coming up. You wanted to go play with the blocks in your room and as you grabbed my finger and pulled me to your room I tried to explain what was going on to you. You stopped, looked quizzically at me and said (in the most adorable little voice), “HUH?!” So, we walked to your room to play blocks. Not 2 seconds after I sat down I hear mommy from the other room, “Loney just hit a grand slam!” I looked and you and said, “Well I hope you’re happy.” You response … “HUH?!”

Well, playing blocks was fun, and I did get to see a replay of the Loney Grand Slam, so I was worth playing blocks with you, but in the future, when it’s Playoff time and the Dodgers are involved, can we play with the blocks in a room that has the game on?
