This morning you work up right before I left for work. Mommy went into your room to get you. The FIRST thing you asked was, “Where my daddy?” So I walked in and you got a big smile on your face. It was so nice. But the caper for the morning was when I asked for a hug and kiss. You ran over to me as fast as you could and wrapped your little arms around my neck and then gave me a peck. I stood up and you moved toward my leg. I thought you were going to ‘help’ me find the door, but instead you gave my leg the biggest hug ever.
I so didn’t want to come to work today.
