It’s always nice to get out of the desert and head to our favorite place on the coast. Grandma Janie’s trailer. It’s a good time and there’s always lots of opportunities for pictures. The fun down at the beach. Breakfast at the hippy place. The train ride to no where. And so, I was raring and ready to go with each of these activities to take a picture or two here and there. Only, the conversation that seemed to occur more often than the fun we had was, “I thought you had the camera.”
So, no pictures this time. But a lot of good times. On Saturday we went to the beach and thought for sure that you’d only last for about 5 minutes, seeing as how you went to bed at 10:30 and woke up with the 5:40 train.
But no, you were a perseverer and stayed as active as possible at the beach and were only convinced to go back to Taywum’s House by the lure of MILK.
On Sunday we rode the train with Grandma Janie and Mimi, “Just to see where it would go.” You were very excited, although after an hour of going to the end of the line, you were done. The only problem of course is that we still needed to go back to our stop. Luckily, we found a stop to get off at and have lunch, so that provided the necessary respite you needed from your train adventures.
I think we had so much fun as a family this weekend. It’s just too bad we didn’t get an pictures. Well, maybe next time.
