Last night you didn’t want to brush you teeth. You did everything you could to keep from performing that chore. First, it was ‘Abby do it’. I said, no, ‘Daddy do it’. Then you walked around in circles with your mouth agape and generally acting silly. I cracked a smile (because it was funny!) and this was my downfall! In the sternest daddy voice I could muster I said, ‘Abby, we need to brush your teeth.’ But of course, when a daddy is smiling and trying to be stern it just looks silly.
