Today I was out and about so you and Mommy had Fifi and her Mummy over. You had all sorts of fun, and were very excited about their impending arrival. Mommy tells me that you walked up to her while she was on the computer, pulled on the arm of the chair to get her attention and then said, without any coaxing, “Fifi!”
Another cool thing that happened today was when asked, “What did you and Daddy watch last night?” you respond with “Fu” as in Kung Fu as in we were watching a kick-butt Kung Fu movie last night and you remembered what it was called AND were able to recall with no coaxing. You’re also getting into the giving knuckles again, but only during the reminiscence of the Fu movie.
Another thing you’ve just started doing is sleeping with items in your bed. Not a blankie, or a bottle or a binky, but rather the monkey Aunt Carolyn gave you, along with your dolly. You’ll unceremoniously throw them into your crib and then when I set you down, you’ll softly move them aside if they are where you want to be. It’s pretty darn cute.
This is so funny! They got such a kick out of it too! I know Abby’s been doing down dog for a while but this was Finley’s first!
