Looking at the Lunar Eclipse

Tonight was a Lunar eclipse … the last for a couple of years in North America. The view for most of it was blocked by clouds but we caught the tail end of it. You were pretty freaked out by the reddish cast of the moon, but you were able to identify that it was indeed the moon.

I’d like to say that I’ve always had a passion for astronomy and I hope you get it, but my interest in astronomy waxes and wains much like the moon. Hopefully you’ll be a little more into than I am. It really is an interesting subject … if only I had the focus
