Abby’s Tundra

Tonight we went and saw the Palm Springs Chill play. It was your first official baseball game and it was awesome. We got to the game a little early, but it gave us a chance to wander around and see the players warming up … AND THE BOUNCE HOUSE!!! That was your favorite part of the game at first, but then came along your new favorite mascot Tundra. You were really shy with him at first, but after some prodding you finally gave him a high five. It was really cute to watch.

You were such a good little girl all night. After the 3rd inning we just stayed up in the stands and watched the game. You would walk to the end of our row of bleachers and ‘jump’ and laugh and smile. Every once in a while you’d clap when everyone else was clapping.

You were a trooper and made it all the way to the seventh inning stretch. This was our downfall. As you know I like to sing ‘Take me out to the Ball Game’ as a good night song, and when the crowd (me and Mommy in particular) started to sing, all you did was say, “Want to” which as we all know is Doozle speak for, “I respectfully disagree with what you’d like me to and will do my own thing if you don’t mind”. So after that we left you first ever baseball game … and I can’t think of a better first game to go to.

And by the way, the Chill won the game 11-4
