Fun with Fondant night

Fun with Fondant night

Tonight some of your friends Mommy’s got together for a Fun with Fondant night. I was suppose to watch you and keep you occupied while they were having fun, but you were such a good little girl you were able to hang out with them for most of the night.

It’s OK though, we got to hang out this morning … you know, when you woke up at 5:45! So we watch Stanley and Zoobomafoo and Sesame Street. Hmm … maybe you’re watching too much television. We may have to cut you off here pretty quick.

Say Cheese!

Say Cheese!

OK. OK. I get it! YOU ARE FREAKING ADORABLE! But do you have to keep on doing it?

Seriously though, this might be one of the best pictures we’ve gotten of you yet. Mommy said she had the opportunity for many other great ones except that I had hidden the memory card in my laptop instead of putting it back in the camera which lead to a premature ‘Memory Card Full’ message because of the small amount of memory on the camera’s internal card … blah blah blah.

Anyway, you woke up again this morning way too early, but you sure were in good spirits about the whole thing. I, on the other hand, thought I was ready to be awake but I wasn’t. I’m not really that hardcore apparently. I fell asleep on the couch during Zoboomafoo and was awaken by the cold wood feeling of your puzzle on my arm. Not the way I would have chosen to wake up, but then I saw you smiling all goofy at me and it was OK.

Fifi and the Dooze eating dinner together

Fifi and the Dooze eating dinner together

Tonight one of your best friends came over for dinner and play time while her parents went out. Before Fifi got here Mommy told you the plan. After that point your entire afternoon was spent waiting for Fifi to arrive. You even went so far as to climb up on a chair and stare out the window looking for her … nearly an hour before she was set to get here!

Once Fifi got here you two played so well together. This picture was taken during dinner when Fifi ate her food like a good little girl and you proceeded to get up and down and have one bite and then just played with your food and then tickled Fifi’s feet and then …

It sure was a fun night. I hope we can do it again really soon.

Looking out over the horizon

Looking out over the horizon

Today was such a perfect day that you and Mommy went to the park and met up with some of your friends. You’ve been excited about this for a couple of days now, walking around saying, “Fends” and calling their names as well. This is actually the first big slide you ever went down all by yourself a couple of weeks ago. It’s insane how much more grown up you seem since then.

Sidewalk chalk … and using your right hand!

Sidewalk chalk ... and using your right hand!

Yesterday Mommy bought you some kicking new Sidewalk Chalk that we got to use today. It was quite the battle getting you to stop watching the TV (sigh) but once we did you and I had a rocking good time drawing on the sidewalk with all of the pretty colors. You even colored in front of Brian’s house for a little while.

After the coloring adventure you and I made an exciting trip to get lunch for me and Mommy. You were such a good little girl, even though I totally forgot your bag. Not 2 minutes from the house and you were asking for your bites, cheerios and water. I felt so bad :(

Luckily once we got to the restaurant they had some water cups there that you were very glad to drink from. Just like a big girl. No sippy cup for you. It was fun just going out and running an errand with you. I know it’s a small silly little thing, but I still had a good time and you were such a good little girl.
