Today was a party with the Mommy Group at the park. I took my lunch hour and came down to hang out … and what an awesome time it was. You were more interested (as you always are) with being alone near the slide and swings. I put you in the swing and you played for a really long time. It felt much longer than it was because it was in the Sun and this being the desert that it is the end of October is warmer than most parts of the country during their hot spells during the summer. My favorite part was when you’d let out a little “Whee!” while on the swing. It was super funny to hear. At first I didn’t really believe that you were doing it, but sure enough on the down swing a little “Whee!” kept coming out of you.
You were also a big fan of the slide at the park. You’d slide down and giggle the whole time and once you reached the bottom you’d sit up as far as you could and say, “More!” I got really tired doing this, but it was so much fun. You even went down head first at one point, which scared the crap out of me, but Mommy didn’t even seem fazed by it.
It was the best lunch hour since we went to Tony Roma’s together.
