Writing while tired

I just reread my post from last night, and wow, it doesn’t transition well from the Daily Doozle part to the new lens part. Sorry about that. I guess this will teach me to do my posting a little earlier in the evening.

Loading the Dish Washer – Explained

Today was the day that I listened to my reader(s) and put up an image that they wanted to see. Unfortunatly, it was a dead heat between Swimming, Playing Music and Something Entirely Different. So I went with the Entirely different, partly because it seemed like the most irrevenrent and partly because I got a new lens for my Camera in the mail today.

It’s a 50mm prime lens that goes to an f1.8 so I don’t need to use the flash for some of the more intimate portraits I’ll be trying to get of you. The Daily Doozle today was one of the better images I got of you helping Mommy load the Dish Washer. The other’s were a little blurry, so I’ve opted to not post them … at least until I can convince myself that they’re artistic.

Over the next couple of weeks I’m sure I’ll break the lens in and learn how to stop with the unintentional blurry images, and only make intentionally blurry images :)

It’s only 4 days until vacation time, and I can’t wait to see how you react to the different places we’re going to go. Mommy is a little worried about all of the driving that we’ll be doing, but I think you’ll be a trooper and make it through with flying colors. Hopefully we’ll have internet access in some of the more ‘remote’ places we’ll be going, so I can post a couple of entries and keep up the Daily Doozle during our trip.

Hanging with your crew at CDMOD

Today we went to the Children’s discover museum and met up with Chloe and her mommy Robin and Finley and her mommy Shari. You looked very cute in your dress and black chucks.

Dress and black chucks

You had a great time playing in the wooden car up in Grandma’s Attic. You also had a smashing time in the Grocery store (as evident by the video below):

It was fun to watch you play with your friends at the museum. You’re getting so big and independent, it’s hard to believe that you were the little girl that wouldn’t let go of Mommy just a couple of months ago. I was very proud of you and all of your adventurous activities today. It was the most fun I’ve had since our last trip out there.
