Today while we were all in the kitchen, mommy said to me, “I’d like to go to the L-I-B-R-A-R-Y this weekend.” To which Abby said, “When are we going to the library?”
So, umm … it looks like the spelling things in front of her thing is out.
I’ve mentioned previously that you seem to like Lord of the Rings, and your fondness for it has only grown in the last couple of months. In the last two nights we have watched the entire extended 2 disc set of Return of the King. We have watched the entire extended 2 disc set of The Fellowship of the Ring AND we’ve nearly made it through both of the discs of the extended Two Towers.
But my absolute favorite thing that we’re doing is reading the book. I mentioned to you about a week ago that there was a book of the Lord of the Rings and that I had it. So I started reading it to you. You’re a little bummed that there aren’t any pictures, but so far we’re about 30 pages into the first Chapter of the book. At this rate we should finish towards the end of your Senior year of High School. I think we’ll be able to pick up the pace though.
